    Impact-Resistant 15-5 PH Stainless Steel Rods

    Tougher and more fracture resistant than 17-4 PH stainless steel. Often used for gears and shafts, these rods are more likely to bend than break when absorbing impact. When heat treated, they have a yield strength of 170,000 psi. They maintain their corrosion resistance in temperatures up to 1100° F.
