The raceways in these bearings are positioned off-center to handle angular (combined radial and thrust) loads.
Single-row bearings handle thrust loads on one side. For applications with thrust loads on both sides, mount them in pairs.
Open bearings dissipate heat more efficiently than shielded and sealed bearings.
Sealed bearings block out dust and other contaminants better than open and shielded bearings, but retain the most heat.
