D-rings on each hip provide a stable working position. Harnesses have a D-ring on the back that attaches to a lanyard for fall protection. A complete fall-arrest system requires a lanyard, a harness, and an anchor. When used properly, the system meets applicable OSHA requirements.
Polyester/elastomer harnesses expand and contract with your movements.
