Often used on furniture, the hood covers the wheel for a more finished appearance. Friction on their stem's grip ring holds them in place. The lightweight polypropylene wheel on these casters provides impact resistance on smooth surfaces. The wheel rides directly on the axle instead of on bearings, making it an economical choice for equipment not frequently moved. Double-ball swivel bearings provide the smoothest swiveling.
