Drum Lift Trucks

Lift, transport, and place drums without a forklift. A V-style base makes it easy to load and unload drums from pallets and platforms. Swivel casters at the back of the truck make them easy to steer.
Trucks with a gas-spring pump handle have a U-shaped lever that engages the gas spring and ratchet mechanism to lift, hold, and release the drum. The length of the handle provides proper leverage, and the base has built-in counterbalance for stability. Hooks securely hold the drum below the rim.
Trucks with a hydraulic pump handle control lifting and lowering of the drum while a claw-style grabber attaches to the rim of the drum for a secure hold.
Trucks with a hydraulic foot pump have a pedal to control lifting and lowering of the drum while a spring-loaded clamp securely grips the rim of the drum. The legs are retractable for easier maneuvering in tight spaces.
Floor locks and wheel brakes keep trucks stationary during lifting and lowering.
Polypropylene wheels are lightweight and work on smooth surfaces. Phenolic wheels are nonmarking and roll best on smooth surfaces.

Manual Fork-Mount Drum Dispensers

These dispensers mount to the forks of a forklift for lifting and transport, plus they pivot for manual tilting so dispensing is easy. The band clamps around the drum and is secured with a latch.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
Pull-Chain Fork-Mount Drum Dispensers

Slide these dispensers onto the forks of a forklift to raise a drum, then use the hand chain to tilt and drain it from up to 10 feet away. Drums can rotate 360° in either direction. Chains or straps with ratchet-style tighteners secure the drums. Note: In half-full drums contents shift, which reduces capacity.
Style B dispensers have an additional bracket assembly that grips the drum from the top and bottom.
Optional drum adapters fit inside the saddle to hold 30-gallon drums.
Optional tilt brakes prevent the drum from tilting when not in use.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Hydraulic Drum Handlers

A hydraulic lift raises the drum to the required height, and a manual tilt mechanism positions the drum at the proper angle for emptying. Handlers can rotate the drums 360° in either direction. A drum saddle with chain and ratchet-style tightener secures the drum and a floor lock keeps the handlers stationary.
Styles A and B have a hand-operated hydraulic lift to position the drum at the required height. They require minimal assembly.
Style C have an electric hydraulic lift that raises the drum with the push of a button and positions the drum at the required height. Release the button to stop lifting. The load will not drop in the event of a power failure.
Handlers with a crank handle are best for dispensing at lower heights. Handlers with a chain hand wheel are easier to use at higher dispensing heights.
Optional drum adapters fit inside the saddle to hold 30-gallon drums.
Note: In half-full drums contents shift, which reduces capacity.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Hydraulic Drum Handlers with Chute

With the push of a button, the electric hydraulic lift raises the drum and a chute controls the flow of the material being dispensed to prevent splashes and spills. A clamp on each side of the chute secures the drum. Handlers have a handheld pendant switch and operate only when the push-buttons are engaged. A limit switch turns off the motor when the drum reaches the maximum height. Load will not drop in the event of a power failure. Screw-down floor locks keep handlers stationary during operation.

Easy-Move Steel Drum Dispensing Trucks

Instead of tilting these trucks during transport, push on the handle to lift a drum straight off the ground and move it easily over obstacles. Push the handle down to tilt the drum and dispense. They are suited for long distance moves and are easier to move than mobile drum dispensing stands. Trucks have a drum saddle with a chain and ratchet-style tightener to secure the drum. A handle lock prevents unintentional lowering and a tilt lock keeps the drum vertical. Release the tilt lock for mixing. The rear swivel caster makes them easy to steer. Their lightweight polypropylene wheels roll best on smooth surfaces.

Steel Drum Dispensing Trucks

Because these trucks tilt and roll like a hand truck they are easier to move than mobile drum dispensing stands. They are suited for long distance moves. Tilt them flat to dispense. Handle grips make the handles more comfortable.
Style A have a hook-style grabber that attaches to the rim of the drum for a secure hold and wedges that slide under the drum for easy loading. When in the dispensing position, rollers on the frame allow you to rotate the drum for mixing. For use with steel drums.
Style B has a polyester strap with spring-loaded cinching buckle to secure the drum, extra-wide load wedges for easy loading, and a kickstand to keep the truck standing. They can be used with fiber, plastic, and steel drums.
Use trucks with polypropylene wheels on smooth surfaces. Trucks with rubber wheels absorb shock to roll over smooth or rough surfaces. Trucks with steel wheels are rugged, but noisy and can damage floors. They work best on smooth surfaces.

Stainless Steel Drum Dispensing Trucks

These corrosion-resistant stainless steel trucks withstand harsh environments and frequent washdowns. Load wedges slide under the drum for easy loading and unloading, and a spring-loaded kickstand keeps the truck standing and adds stability during dispensing. The four polypropylene wheels are suitable for long distance moves on smooth surfaces.

Spill-Control Drum Dispensing Trucks

Spills while dispensing drums are contained in an internal sump, so you can transport the drum even after a spill occurs. A U-shaped platform with a recessed step and molded handles makes loading, unloading, and tipping to dispense easy. A strap secures the drum. In the dispensing position, the drum is held at a slight downward angle for better flow. The sump has two openings with garden hose threads for drainage.
Use trucks with polypropylene wheels on smooth surfaces. Trucks with rubber wheels absorb shock to roll on smooth and rough surfaces. Meets EPA 40 CFR 264.175 for secondary containment of hazardous waste.

Stable-Ride Drum Trucks

A second set of axle-mounted wheels offers better load support and stability to handle heavy loads over longer distances. Trucks cradle the drum during transport and are designed to stand upright on their own. Load wedges slide under the drum for easy loading.
All trucks have a rim catch that clamps to the top of the drum to secure it. Spring-loaded rim catches automatically clamp to the drum as it's tilted.
Styles A, C, and D have standard handles with grips as well as a loop handle for better control.
Style B have a heavy duty cradle and an easy-tilt axis that makes it easier to tilt the trucks and get them rolling.
Style D have a hand brake for more control on ramps and inclines.
Steel trucks are durable.
Aluminum trucks are strong, spark resistant, and lighter in weight than steel trucks.
Polypropylene wheels are lightweight and work on smooth surfaces. Rubber wheels absorb shock, are quiet, and roll over smooth or rough surfaces. Steel wheels are rugged but noisy and can damage floors. They roll best on smooth surfaces. Phenolic wheels are nonmarking and roll best on smooth surfaces, but can be noisy. Pneumatic rubber wheels provide a cushioned ride over the roughest surfaces, such as gravel.

Drum Trucks
These two-wheeled trucks are good for moving drums short distances. Trucks cradle the drum during transport. They have load wedges that slide under the drum for lifting.
Trucks with a rim catch clamp to the top of the drum to secure it.
Spring-loaded axles make it easier to tilt the trucks and get them rolling.
Style A and B trucks have a kickstand to keep them upright when not in use.
Style C trucks have load rollers for easy loading and unloading of drums from pallets.
Style D trucks have a strap with spring-loaded cinching buckle to secure drums. They stand upright on their own.
Polypropylene wheels are lightweight and work on smooth surfaces. Rubber tread-on-core wheels have a hard core for strength surrounded by a shock- and sound-absorbing tread for a cushioned ride on all surfaces.
