High-Load Food Industry Oil-Embedded Flanged Sleeve Bearings
Support heavy loads that are often found in bottling and filling lines in food plants—these bearings contain extra iron and FDA-compliant oil. The oil is safe to touch food, though it shouldn’t regularly come in contact. Startup friction causes these bearings to release a thin layer of oil onto their surface. They’re flanged, so they handle loads both parallel and perpendicular to the shaft.
841 bearing bronze bearings run at higher speeds than 863 iron-copper bearings. They’re also known as Oilite® bearings.
