Precision Angular-Contact Thrust Ball Bearings

These bearings have angular raceways for combined thrust and radial loads—install them where precision tolerances are required for accuracy and high speeds. They’re often used in spindle applications. To handle thrust loads in both directions, they have a double-row construction. Pair them with cylindrical roller bearings to better handle radial loads. They have an open construction to dissipate heat efficiently.

Thrust Ball Bearings

Steel balls and washers allow these bearings to handle higher loads than bearings with stainless steel components. With an open design, they dissipate heat more efficiently than one-piece thrust ball bearings.
Bearings with steel cage and with bronze cage handle higher loads and speeds than bearings with a plastic cage.

Crossed-Roller Bearings

With a considerably larger ID than our Face-Mount Crossed-Roller Bearings, use these to run hydraulic lines, electrical wiring, and other components through the inside of the bearing. The rollers face in alternating directions to allow for rigid, accurate motion under any combination of radial, thrust, and moment (twisting) loads. Use in applications where highly accurate motion is necessary, such as machine tools and industrial robots.
Sealed bearings block out dust and other contaminants better than open bearings, but retain more heat.

Needle-Roller Thrust Bearings
Thinner rollers allow these bearings to fit in tighter spaces than tapered-roller thrust bearings. Because of the large contact area between the rollers and washers (not included), these bearings are great for medium to heavy duty, low-friction jobs. For use on hardened and ground surfaces.
Washers allow you to use the bearing on unhardened and unground surfaces.

High-Temperature Linear Ball Bearings

The choice for low-friction motion in high-temperature environments. Bearings are for use with round end-supported shafts and have a fixed-alignment design for applications where shaft misalignment is unlikely. To install, slide bearings into a housing (not included). For bearings with retaining ring grooves, secure with two retaining rings (sold individually).
