Low-Profile Mounted Ball Bearings

Designed with a thin, compact housing, these bearings are good for space-constrained applications.
Bearings with 304 stainless steel housing are more corrosion resistant than those with steel and aluminum housings. They are self-aligning to compensate for shaft misalignment. Seals block out dust and contaminants.
Sealed bearings block out dust and other contaminants better than shielded bearings.

Thread-Mount Bearings

Combine with threaded pipe to mount these bearings in a variety of positions without the need for a flat mounting surface. Bearings are self-aligning to compensate for shaft misalignment. Seals block out dust and contaminants.
NPSM (National Pipe Straight Mechanical) threads are compatible with NPT threads. See more about pipe thread type and sizing.

High-Speed Flange-Mounted Linear Sleeve Bearings

A ceramic liner makes high speeds as well as rapid acceleration and deceleration possible. The flange-mount design is good for vertical linear motion applications. Bearings are for use with round end-supported shafts and are self-aligning to compensate for shaft misalignment. End seals keep contaminants out.

Chemical-Resistant Flange-Mounted Linear Sleeve Bearings

The Frelon liner on these bearings allows them to stand up to a wider range of chemicals than other flange-mounted linear sleeve bearings. All are self-aligning to compensate for shaft misalignment and are for use with round end-supported shafts. Note: Not for use with bare aluminum or chrome-plated shafts.
Bearings with 0.0005" shaft clearance are best for precision applications. Bearings with 0.0015" shaft clearance are less likely to bind on your shaft than bearings with 0.0005" shaft clearance.

Fast-Travel Ball Screws and Nuts

Multiple thread channels (also known as thread starts) create faster linear travel than ball screws with a single thread start. Internal ball bearings provide smooth low-friction travel in applications that require high speeds, accurate positioning, and repeatable movement. To ensure compatibility, select components that have the same thread size and number of thread starts. Ball nuts are furnished with a tube to keep ball bearings in place. Do not remove the tube until you are ready to install the nuts onto the screws.
Black-oxide alloy steel ball nuts have mild corrosion resistance.
Travel distance per turn, also known as screw lead, is the distance a ball nut moves with one revolution of the ball screw.
For technical drawings and 3-D models, click on a part number.

Secure a way wiper on the end of a ball nut to sweep chips and other contaminants out of the way as it moves across the ball screw.
