Oil-Embedded Sleeve Bearings
Startup friction causes these porous bronze bearings to release a thin layer of oil on the bearing’s surface. They are also known as Oilite® bearings.
Note: Dynamic load capacity is the maximum load a bearing can withstand at a given shaft speed. If your application’s load and speed requirements are below the values listed, the bearing will work.

High-Load Oil-Embedded Sleeve Bearings
Increased iron content makes these bearings stronger and more resistant to shock loads than standard oil-embedded bearings; however they operate at lower speeds. Startup friction causes them to release a thin layer of oil on the bearing’s surface. Color is silver because of the iron. These bearings are also magnetic due to the high iron content.
863 iron-copper bearings are also known as Super Oilite® bearings.
Note: Dynamic load capacity is the maximum load a bearing can withstand at a given shaft speed. If your application’s load and speed requirements are below the values listed, the bearing will work.

High-Load Ultra-Low-Friction Oil-Embedded Sleeve Bearings
With extra iron and filled with oil containing slippery PTFE, these bearings support heavy loads that frequently start and stop along shafts. Startup friction causes a thin layer of oil to release onto the surface. Their high iron content also means they resist failing if their load suddenly and drastically increases, but they won’t run as fast as standard bearings.
Note: Dynamic load capacity is the maximum load a bearing can withstand at a given shaft speed. If your application’s load and speed requirements are below the values listed, the bearing will work.

High-Temperature Dry-Running Sleeve Bearings
Graphite provides a layer of dry lubrication that operates in high-temperature environments.
932 bearing bronze bearings are cast, making them strong, wear resistant, and excellent at handling shock loads. They are sometimes called 660 leaded bronze bearings.
Grooved bearings have a graphite-filled groove on the inside of the bearing that distributes lubricant evenly along the bearing’s surface.
Note: Dynamic load capacity is the maximum load a bearing can withstand at a given shaft speed. If your application’s load and speed requirements are below the values listed, the bearing will work.

Multipurpose Sleeve Bearings with Groove
A figure-8-shaped groove provides a flow path for lubricant, distributing it evenly along the bearing’s surface. Bearings are cast bronze, making them strong, wear resistant, and excellent at handling shock loads. 932 bearing bronze is sometimes called 660 leaded bronze.
Note: Dynamic load capacity is the maximum load a bearing can withstand at a given shaft speed. If your application’s load and speed requirements are below the values listed, the bearing will work.

Metric Press-Fit Drill Bushings
Also known as jig bushings, these metric drill bushings fit inside fixture plate holes to guide drill bits, counterbores, reamers, and other cutting tools. They improve accuracy so that your drilled holes and cuts are consistent from part to part. Known for their versatility, drill bushings are also used as spacers, shims, and machinery bushings. These bushings are made of hardened, ground steel that holds its shape and resists wear, so they last for many cycles without needing to be replaced.
All bushings have a chamfer on the outside that centers the bushing as you place it into the hole. Press into place with a manual or hydraulic press. They also have internal chamfers, so it's easier to insert bits, pins, and punches into the bushing. Some bushings have internal chamfers on both ends, so no matter which end of the bushing is inserted into your jig, your bits, pins, and other tooling enter easily. Having an internal chamfer on the bottom of your bushing may cause shavings to get caught and bind as you remove the bit, however.
DIN 179 bushings meet dimensional and material standards that make sure they're compatible with other parts and tools. Although DIN 179 is no longer an active standard, it's still a common reference point for designers.

Roller Screws and Nuts
Precision ground to create more points of contact, these roller screws and nuts are highly accurate and handle much higher loads than ball screws and nuts of the same size. They're most traditionally used to replace hydraulics in linear actuators but can also be used in place of ball and lead screw assemblies because of their high load capacity and precise motion control. In fact, they're almost four times more accurate than our most accurate ball and lead screws. They also last longer than ball screw nuts in systems with lower loads and can handle higher shock loads. However, because they have more contact points, they’re slightly less efficient than ball screws. To ensure compatibility, select components that have the same thread direction and size.
Travel distance per turn, also known as screw lead, is the distance a roller nut moves with one revolution of the roller screw.
