Oil-Embedded Sleeve Bearings
Startup friction causes these porous bronze bearings to release a thin layer of oil on the bearing’s surface. They are also known as Oilite® bearings.
Note: Dynamic load capacity is the maximum load a bearing can withstand at a given shaft speed. If your application’s load and speed requirements are below the values listed, the bearing will work.

High-Load Oil-Embedded Sleeve Bearings
Increased iron content makes these bearings stronger and more resistant to shock loads than standard oil-embedded bearings; however they operate at lower speeds. Startup friction causes them to release a thin layer of oil on the bearing’s surface. Color is silver because of the iron. These bearings are also magnetic due to the high iron content.
863 iron-copper bearings are also known as Super Oilite® bearings.
Note: Dynamic load capacity is the maximum load a bearing can withstand at a given shaft speed. If your application’s load and speed requirements are below the values listed, the bearing will work.

High-Load Ultra-Low-Friction Oil-Embedded Sleeve Bearings
With extra iron and filled with oil containing slippery PTFE, these bearings support heavy loads that frequently start and stop along shafts. Startup friction causes a thin layer of oil to release onto the surface. Their high iron content also means they resist failing if their load suddenly and drastically increases, but they won’t run as fast as standard bearings.
Note: Dynamic load capacity is the maximum load a bearing can withstand at a given shaft speed. If your application’s load and speed requirements are below the values listed, the bearing will work.

Food Industry Oil-Embedded Sleeve Bearings
The oil in these bearings is suitable for incidental contact with food. Startup friction produces a thin layer of oil on the bearing’s surface.

Metric Press-Fit Drill Bushings
Also known as jig bushings, these metric drill bushings fit inside fixture plate holes to guide drill bits, counterbores, reamers, and other cutting tools. They improve accuracy so that your drilled holes and cuts are consistent from part to part. Known for their versatility, drill bushings are also used as spacers, shims, and machinery bushings. These bushings are made of hardened, ground steel that holds its shape and resists wear, so they last for many cycles without needing to be replaced.
All bushings have a chamfer on the outside that centers the bushing as you place it into the hole. Press into place with a manual or hydraulic press. They also have internal chamfers, so it's easier to insert bits, pins, and punches into the bushing. DIN 179 bushings meet dimensional and material standards that make sure they're compatible with other parts and tools. Although DIN 179 is no longer an active standard, it's still a common reference point for designers.

Metric Fast-Travel Ultra-Precision Lead Screws and Nuts
Multiple thread channels (also known as thread starts) create faster linear travel than lead screws with a single thread start. Operating with less backlash (play) than Metric Precision Acme Lead Screws and Nuts, these lead screws and nuts provide increased nut life and more reliable movement in automated systems. To ensure compatibility, select components that have the same thread size, thread pitch, and number of thread starts. 303 and 304 stainless steel lead screws have good corrosion resistance.
Travel distance per turn, also known as screw lead, is the distance a nut moves with one revolution of the lead screw.

Metric Ultra-Precision Lead Screws and Nuts
Operating with less backlash (play) than Metric Precision Acme Lead Screws and Nuts, these provide increased nut life and more reliable movement in automated systems. Also known as single-start and self-locking lead screws and nuts, they have a single thread that runs the length of the screw. The nut travels only when the screw turns, so your system won't unexpectedly move when the lead screw is at rest. To ensure compatibility, select components that have the same thread size, thread type, thread size, thread pitch, and number of thread starts. 303 stainless steel lead screws have good corrosion resistance.

Fast-Travel Ball Screws and Nuts
Multiple thread channels (also known as thread starts) create faster linear travel than ball screws with a single thread start. Internal ball bearings provide smooth low-friction travel in applications that require high speeds, accurate positioning, and repeatable movement. To ensure compatibility, select components that have the same thread size and number of thread starts. Ball nuts are furnished with a tube to keep ball bearings in place. Do not remove the tube until you are ready to install the nuts onto the screws.
Carbon steel ball screws and nuts are case hardened, so they resist wear better than standard carbon steel. However, they are less corrosion resistant than black-oxide alloy steel screws and nuts.
Travel distance per turn, also known as screw lead, is the distance a ball nut moves with one revolution of the ball screw.

T-Slotted Framing Linear Bearings and Track Rollers
Mount components to these load-rated bearings and track rollers to add linear motion along T-slotted rails.

Bearings move more accurately than other T-slotted framing linear motion components, such as track rollers, and are often used in automated systems and other applications requiring repetitive motion. They’re lined with slippery, durable plastic and have no moving parts. These bearings withstand exposure to dirt, water, impact, and vibration. To adjust how they fit on your rail, slide one of the included shims between the bearing pad and bearing housing.
Flanged sleeve bearings mount in two different orientations: one where the bearing slides along the rail and another where the bearing acts as a mount allowing the rail to slide. Fasten bolts through the flange holes to secure them to rails, loads, and other surfaces.
Heavy duty flanged bearings have threaded inserts in their bearing pads for a tighter grip on the bearing housing. They work well in pick-and-place, parts-transfer, and other high-speed applications with frequent starts, stops, and changes in speed.
Bearing pads replace worn pads.

Hand brakes hold sleeve bearing carriages in place on the rail. Single arm brakes have an adjustable grip. If space is tight, you can ratchet the grip out of the way without releasing the brake.
