How to Identify and Measure Fittings
Pipe size is an industry designation, not the actual size. View information about how to measure threaded and unthreaded pipe and pipe fittings.
More
Standard-Wall Butt-Weld Stainless Steel Unthreaded Pipe Fittings
Also known as Schedule 40 fittings, these have thicker walls than our thin-wall stainless steel unthreaded butt-weld fittings. They have beveled ends that, when flush to pipe, create a trough for a strong weld that permits maximum flow.
304 stainless steel fittings have very good corrosion resistance. 316 stainless steel fittings have excellent corrosion resistance.

Thick-Wall Butt-Weld Stainless Steel Unthreaded Pipe Fittings
With a thicker wall than our standard-wall butt-weld pipe fittings, these offer high strength while providing a smooth connection for maximum flow. They have beveled ends that, when flush to pipe, create a trough for a leak-resistant, permanent weld.
304 stainless steel fittings have very good corrosion resistance. 316 stainless steel fittings have excellent corrosion resistance.

- For Use With: Air, Natural Gas, Oil, Steam, Water
- Specifications Met: ASTM A403
- Pipe Nipples and Pipe: Use Schedule 80 stainless steel
- Fittings: Use Class 300 or 600 stainless steel
Copper-Nickel Butt-Weld Pipe Fittings
Fittings weld flush against pipe, creating a strong connection that permits maximum flow. Fittings are also known as Pressure Class 200 fittings. They are copper-nickel, which has excellent resistance to stress cracking and better corrosion resistance than most stainless steel alloys. They are often used in highly-corrosive environments, such as salt water applications.

- For Use With: Air, Natural Gas, Oil, Water, Salt Water
- Pressure Class: 200
- Military Specifications Met: NAVSEA 810-1385880
- Pipe: Use Class 200 copper-nickel

Stainless Steel Push-to-Connect Tube Fittings for Air and Water

UN/UNF (SAE Straight)
Male Threads with Gasket
- Temperature Range: -10° to 300° F,
except ISO 14743 fittings: 5° to 390° F - Tubing: Use with firm or hard (Durometer 95A-72D) nylon plastic or polyurethane rubber,
except ISO 14743 fittings: Use with firm (Durometer 85A-100A) nylon plastic or polyurethane rubber
Made entirely of stainless steel, these fittings have the best corrosion resistance of all our metal push-to-connect fittings. Also known as instant fittings, they connect to tubing with a push, and an internal gripping ring and O-ring hold the tubing tight. To disconnect, push on the release ring and pull the tubing out of the fitting.
Metric male threads have either a gasket or thread sealant to protect against leaks.
