About NEMA Plugs, Sockets, and Receptacles
More
Washdown Turn-Lock Connectors and Cords
When mated, connectors meet NEMA 6P for protection against corrosion and washdowns. All have a multiple-ring seal and rubber housing to keep out liquid. They resist heat, oil, and chemicals. A quarter turn locks them in place to remain secure in high-vibration applications and prevent accidental disconnection.
Plugs mate with female receptacles and female sockets with an attached cover.
Cord splitters power multiple devices from a single outlet.

Washdown Straight-Blade Connectors and Cords
All connectors have a multiple-ring seal and rubber housing to keep out liquid. They resist heat, oil, and chemicals. When mated, connectors meet NEMA 6P, NEMA 12, and either IP67 or IP69K.
Connectors that meet IP67 resist temporary submersion.
Plugs mate with female receptacles and female sockets with an attached cover.
Cord splitters power multiple devices from a single outlet.
Note: The current rating of your plug should not exceed that of your socket or receptacle.
