Telescoping Weld-Together Rails
Create posts of varying lengths. To telescope rails, slide one length of rail into the next larger size rail (for example, a 1 3/4" height rail fits into a 2" height rail and a 3/4" dia. rail fits into a 1" dia. rail). Weld the rails together at the desired length to create strong structures. These rails are not compatible with weld-together framing and fittings.
Carbon steel rails are lightly oiled.
Galvanized carbon steel rails have good corrosion resistance in wet environments and can be used outdoors.

Weld-Together Framing and Fittings
Create strong structures by welding this framing together. Add metal panels to close off openings. Slide the rail into the fitting and weld in place.

Low-Carbon Steel I-Beams
- Yield Strength: 50,000 psi
- Hardness: Not Rated
- Heat Treatable: Yes
- Specifications Met: ASTM A992
Made of rigid low-carbon steel, these I-beams are often used in construction, framing, lifting, and hoisting applications. Also known as mild steel, low-carbon steel is the most commonly used material for I-beams. It deflects less under load than medium- or high-carbon steel and is less likely to crack from welding. These I-beams have rounded corners, and are also known as American Standard I-beams. They weigh less than low-carbon steel H-bars, but are not as strong.

Low-Carbon Steel H-Bars
- Yield Strength: 50,000 psi
- Hardness: Not Rated
- Heat Treatable: Yes
- Maximum Hardness After Heat Treatment: Not Rated
- Specifications Met: ASTM A992
Made of stiff low-carbon steel to deflect less under load, these H-bars are commonly used in machine bases, construction, platforms, and frames. Because of its rigidity, low-carbon steel is the most commonly used material for H-bars. These H-bars are less likely to crack from welding than those made of higher-carbon steels, and easier to weld than I-beams because they have a straight flange instead of a radius flange. H-bars are stronger than I-beams, but also heavier.

Rebar
Reduce the chance your concrete will crack from expansion and contraction and other tensile stresses. Concrete inherently stands up to high compressive loads—adding this rebar strengthens it against pulling forces as well. The rebar's surface is textured; poured concrete fills in the gaps between those ridges to create a strong bond.
Carbon steel rods expand and contract at the same rate as concrete, further reducing the risk of cracking. In addition to using them in structural applications such as reinforcing concrete, cut, bend, and weld them onsite for applications like rebar fencing and shelving.
