Also known as twin-wheel casters, these lightweight and economical casters are often used on displays. Friction on their stem's grip ring holds them in place. The nylon wheels are impact and wear resistant. Wheels ride directly on the axle rather than on bearings, making them an economical choice for equipment not frequently moved. They work well on smooth surfaces.
Casters with a grip-neck stem include a mounting socket that can be tapped into a wood leg or post to securely hold the stem.
Lightly step on casters with a foot-pedal brake to stop movement.
Casters with an automatic brake roll when a load is applied and stop when the load is removed.
Casters with an oversized neck create a seamless look between the top of the caster and most swivel chairs.
