Weld these coating strips onto pulleys to help them keep a better grip on conveyor belts. They also protect the pulleys from wear, making them last longer. Unlike traditional coatings, there’s no need to remove your pulley from its system to attach them. They have a metal backing plate that ensures a strong bond between the coating strip and pulley, and prevents failures caused by them separating. To eliminate wide gaps between rows, which make them harder to clean, these strips have an interlocking shape. They’re also known as lagging.

Ribbed coating strips trap water and debris, and shed them as the conveyor runs to prevent material buildup. Use them in dry and dirty environments.

Diamond-tread coating strips shed water and debris like rain-tire treads. They prevent belt slippage and hydroplaning, and work well in wet and dry environments.

Coatings with ceramic tiles add extra grip to further reduce the chance of belt slippage, even in wet and muddy environments. The tiles also protect the rubber coating from wear during extended use.

To Order—Determine the number of strips you need to cover your pulley. Divide the pulley diameter (in inches) by 2, and round up. For example, you’ll need nine strips to cover an 18" diameter pulley.

Strip length should be equal to the pulley’s width and 2" longer than the belt’s width.
