Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
Style A—Style A are for use with plastic drums.
Style C—Style C have a single locking screw for faster tightening.
Style D—Style D have rubber-lined gripping arms that provide a nonslip contact surface to better grip drums.

The jaws automatically grip the top of the drum when lifted with a forklift—great for areas with limited side clearance. The jaws release when the drum is set down. Grabbers have locking screws that clamp down on the forks to secure the grabbers to your forklift. Use with closed- and open-head drums.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
Protectors—Drum grabber protectors (sold separately) bolt to the base of the grabber to cushion and protect the drum from wear (mounting hardware included). Drum grabbers for two containers require two protectors.

Steel Hooks—Your go-to for most jobs, the steel hooks lift drums by their rims.
Steel Clamps—Two spring-loaded clamps snap onto the drum rim and hold tight, so your drum won’t slip from jolts and sudden stops. Although they're more secure than hook grips, they can dent your drums.
Polyester Straps—Wrap around drums to move them without causing dents. These slings also lift damaged drums that hooks won’t grip tight.

Image of Product. Front orientation. Drum Lifters. Manual Drum Lift Trucks, V-Style Base—Gas-Spring Pump Handle.
Trucks with a gas-spring pump handle raise your drum as you pump down the handle. The leverage of the handle and the power of the gas spring alleviate the weight of the load. Built to prevent tipping, a ratchet mechanism keeps your movements controlled. Three hooks securely hold the drum below the rim.

    Counterbalanced Base—Hydraulic Pump Handle
Image of Product. Front orientation. Drum Lifters. Manual Drum Lift Trucks, Counterbalanced Base—Hydraulic Pump Handle.
Trucks with a counterbalanced base have no front legs, so you can roll them right next to tight cabinets or shelving structures to load or unload your drum.
Trucks with a hydraulic pump require less manual effort to lift and position heavy drums than lift trucks with a gas-spring pump handle. Control up and down movement by activating either a hand or foot lever. A claw-style gripper attaches at one point on the rim of your drum—similar to an electric can opener latching onto a can.
Polyurethane Plastic Wheel—Polyurethane wheels are nonmarking, abrasion resistant, and shock absorbent.

Hook these lifters to a crane or hoist to pick up 5-gallon pails and pour out their contents. A hand wheel rotates the pail 360° in either direction, so you can easily dump adhesives, paint, or chemicals into containers without spilling or splashing. You can lock the wheel at any angle—in 45° increments—to control the flow of material. A bracket fits over the top of the pail to keep it from falling when it’s upended. These lifters also have a ratcheting strap to secure the center of the pail.
These lifters work with straight- or tapered-wall pails. Measure diameter at the pail’s midpoint.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Drum Dispensers. Pull-Chain Fork-Mount Drum Dispensers, Style B.

    Style B

Slide these dispensers onto the forks of a forklift to raise a drum, then use the hand chain to tilt and drain it from up to 10 feet away. Drums can rotate 360° in either direction. Chains or straps with ratchet-style tighteners secure the drums. Note: In half-full drums contents shift, which reduces capacity.
Drum adapters fit inside the saddle to hold 30-gallon drums.
Tilt brakes prevent the drum from tilting when not in use.
Bracket kits for fiber and plastic drums retrofit Style A dispensers to have the same capabilities as Style B dispensers. They bolt onto the side of the drum saddle and clamp to the top and bottom of the drum to give the dispenser enough stability to be used with rimless plastic and fiber drums.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
Style B—Style B dispensers have a built-in bracket assembly that grips the drum from the top and bottom, allowing them to lift rimless fiber, plastic, or steel drums.

A hydraulic lift raises the drum to the required height, and a manual tilt mechanism positions the drum at the proper angle for emptying. Handlers can rotate the drums 360° in either direction. A drum saddle with a chain and ratchet-style tightener secures the drum, and a floor lock keeps these handlers stationary.
Drum adapters fit inside the saddle to hold 30-gallon drums.
Bracket kits for fiber and plastic drums bolt onto the side of the drum saddle and clamp to the top and bottom. They give the handler enough stability to be used with rimless plastic and fiber drums.
Note: In half-full drums contents shift, which reduces capacity.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
Hand-Crank Tilt Mechanism—Handlers with a hand-crank tilt mechanism are best for dispensing at lower heights.
Chain-Hand-Wheel Tilt Mechanism—Handles with a chain-hand-wheel tilt mechanism are easier to use at higher dispensing heights.
Styles A and B—Styles A and B have a hand-operated hydraulic lift to position the drum at the required height. They require minimal assembly.
Style C—Style C have an electric hydraulic lift that raises the drum with the push of a button and positions the drum at the required height.

    Hydraulic Drum Handlers with Chute

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Drum Lifters. Hydraulic Drum Handlers with Chute.
With the push of a button, the electric hydraulic lift raises the drum and a chute controls the flow of the material being dispensed to prevent splashes and spills. A clamp on each side of the chute secures the drum. Handlers have a handheld pendant switch and operate only when the push-buttons are engaged. A limit switch turns off the motor when the drum reaches the maximum height. Load will not drop in the event of a power failure. Screw-down floor locks keep handlers stationary during operation.

    Push Button Tilt

    Mechanism

From the comfort of your forklift, just push a button to dispense heavy drums into large containers, vats, and hoppers. The battery-powered tilt offers greater precision than a manual tilt for a smoother, more controlled pour. You can rotate drums 180° in either direction. It takes about 15 seconds to fully invert them. On a single charge, you’ll be able to empty about 70 drums. These dispensers slide onto your forklift forks and secure with thumb screws. A chain with a ratchet-style tightener holds the drum in place.
Drum adapters fit inside the saddle to hold 30-gallon drums.
Bracket kits for fiber and plastic drums bolt onto the side of the drum saddle and clamp to the top and bottom of the drum. They give the dispenser enough stability to be used with rimless plastic and fiber drums.
Note: Contents shift in half-full drums, which reduces capacity.

    Battery-Operated Drum Lift Trucks

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Drum Lifters. Battery-Operated Drum Lift Trucks.
Lift heavy drums in seconds—without ever touching them. Powered by a battery-operated hydraulic pump, these trucks grip, lift, lower, and release drums with the push of a button. No manual pumping required. The claw-style grabber won’t release the drum until it’s fully set down. With a lift height over 3 ft., these trucks can stack two drums or load them into most pickup trucks. A V-style base makes it easy to load and unload drums from pallets and platforms. Plug these trucks into any standard wall outlet to charge the battery.
Retractable legs let you maneuver in tight spaces, and two swivel casters at the back of the truck make steering and pivoting easy. Once the truck is in place, engage the floor lock to keep it stable while you lift and lower loads. The wheels are phenolic, so they’re nonmarking and roll best on smooth surfaces.
