Non-Hardening Thread Sealants
Often used in high-vibration applications that could cause standard thread sealants to fail, these never fully harden and remain pliable enough to self-heal and stop leaks before they start. They have low locking strength, so they can be adjusted without tools.
To adhere to safety standards for drinking water systems, use sealants that meet NSF/ANSI 61.
Sealants that cannot be sold to the listed regions are restricted due to local VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) regulations.

Thread Sealants with PTFE
PTFE provides a slippery surface that keeps threads from binding. These sealants are anaerobic, so they don’t begin to harden until coated surfaces are threaded together, blocking exposure to air.
Sealants with low locking strength prevent threads from loosening due to vibration and can be adjusted without tools.
To adhere to safety standards for drinking water systems, use sealants that meet NSF/ANSI 61.

Non-Hardening Thread Sealants with PTFE
PTFE provides a slippery surface that keeps threads from binding. Edge Sealants
Prevent the edges of tape, signs, and graphics from peeling by sealing out water and debris.
Pipe Cement for Plastic Pipe
Create strong, leakproof joints between unthreaded pipe and fittings. Cleaner and primer (sold separately) are recommended to prepare pipe for adhesion.
Cement for CPVC plastic and for PVC plastic meets NSF/ANSI 61 safety standards for use on drinking water systems. It is also suitable for drain, waste, and vent pipes.
Cement for ABS plastic is for use in drain, waste, and vent systems.
Cement for ABS, PVC, and CPVC plastic works on most plastic pipe, conduit, water lines, and drain, waste, and vent systems.

Pipe Cement for Corrosive Waste Plastic Pipe

Contact Adhesives
Apply these adhesives on two surfaces, air dry, and then bring together to bond.
Black adhesive works especially well on foam insulation.
Adhesives that cannot be sold to the regions listed exceed local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
