Often fabricated into low-cost electrical components, these Garolite XX rods are stronger than Garolite CE rods with better electrical-insulating properties. Garolite XX is constructed of a phenolic resin with paper reinforcement, which makes it easy to machine. It's also known as paper-grade industrial laminate, phenolic, and Bakelite.
