    Ultra-Machinable Delrin® Acetal Round Tubes

Image of Product. Front orientation. Plastic. Ultra-Machinable Delrin® Acetal Round Tubes.
Easy to machine to close tolerances, these dimensionally stable tubes resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture. They have a naturally slippery surface along with excellent wear resistance. Use them to make precision gears, bushings, and bearings. Delrin® acetal resin, also known as acetal homopolymer, is stronger and stiffer than acetal copolymer.

    Ultra-Low-Friction Delrin® Acetal Round Tubes

Image of Product. Front orientation. Plastic. Ultra-Low-Friction Delrin® Acetal Round Tubes.
PTFE is added to these Delrin® acetal resin tubes to make the surface even more slippery and wear resistant. They resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture, so they can be machined to close tolerances. Fabricate them into pump components, gears, and bearings. Delrin® acetal resin is also known as acetal homopolymer.

    Telescoping Delrin® Acetal Round Tubes

Image of Product. Front orientation. Plastic. Telescoping Delrin® Acetal Round Tubes.
Telescoping tubes, also known as bushing stock, slide over rods and inside shafts to increase or decrease the diameter. Their precise sizing also allows ascending sizes to fit inside each other to increase the wall thickness.

Standard-Wall Plastic Pipe Fittings for Water

Connect these fittings to Schedule 40 plastic pipe–they are the industry standard for residential and commercial low-pressure plumbing and water supply applications. They are plastic for good corrosion resistance.
To prevent leaks in threaded connections, apply a sealant to the male threads. Threaded connections can be taken apart as needed for maintenance and repair. For metal threads, use PTFE tape. For plastic threads, apply a non-hardening, plastic-compatible sealant. Tape or sealants with PTFE are not recommended for plastic-to-plastic connections. When making a threaded connection be careful not to overtighten the threads. To prevent cracks and leaks, finger tighten the fitting, then wrench-tighten one to two turns.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.
Note: For fittings that are not rated for pressure, you can use the pressure rating of the plastic pipe as a reference. Threaded fittings are limited to 50% of the rated pressure of the pipe.

Through-wall fittings are also known as bulkhead couplings; they mount through your wall or tank to create an inlet or outlet. When installing, the gasket should be on the inside of the wall.
Fittings for tanks create an inlet or outlet connection on the surface of any tank, pressure vessel, or drum.

Plastic Pipe Fittings for Food and Beverage

Made of either nylon or acetal, these fittings resist corrosion, so they won't deteriorate in food processing applications. They won’t transfer tastes or odors to your food or beverages.
