EMI/RFI Shielding Gaskets for Data Connectors
Fit these gaskets over connectors that plug in to your enclosure to absorb interference and prevent signal problems. They block electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), which cause flickering displays and inaccurate readings.
Polyurethane foam gaskets compress for a tight fit between plugs and receptacles, and their conductive nickel/copper braid creates a continuous shield and grounding path. Meeting UL 94 V-0, they self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread the fire by dripping.
Interference reduction at frequency, also known as attenuation, describes how much EMI and RFI is blocked. These gaskets block most interference; use them for general purpose shielding as well as protecting sensitive or precision components.
