Choose these Garolite G-7 rods for their high heat tolerance—they withstand temperatures up to 425° F. While not as strong as Garolite G-9 rods, they offer better arc resistance in dry environments and a higher level of electrical insulation. These rods are constructed of a silicone resin with fiberglass fabric reinforcement. Garolite G-7 is sometimes called silicone-grade laminate, phenolic, and Bakelite. Use it to fabricate high-frequency telecommunication equipment and parts that require a high tolerance to heat.
