U-joints are used to connect two shafts that have a high amount of misalignment.

Easy-Install Single U-Joints
No drilling required.
Plastic U-joints connect to shafts using the included set screws. Steel U-joints connect to shafts using the keyway and included set screws. They have grooves for holding protective boots (not included).
