Nonremovable Pin
Plastic hinges are a lightweight alternative to metal hinges and provide smooth, silent operation.
Hinges with a nonremovable pin deter tampering. Pinless hinges have a flexible joint instead of a pin.
ABS hinges resist moisture and prevent rot.
Nylon hinges don’t wear easily or break down from oil, grease, and solvents.
Polypropylene hinges have good resistance to salt water, oil, and solvents.
Acrylic hinges have good corrosion and chemical resistance.
HDPE and PVDF hinges have good corrosion, chemical, and impact resistance.
Polyolefin hinges have good resistance to salt water, oil, solvents, and UV rays.
Polycarbonate hinges have good corrosion and chemical resistance. They also have excellent impact resistance.
