Corrosion-Resistant Long-Nose Pliers
Made of stainless steel or titanium, these pliers are good for environments where moisture and other contaminants are present. Use their long jaws to grip, bend, and twist wire and other small workpieces. Titanium pliers are nonmagnetic, so they are often used for work on MRI machines where magnetic tools can cause damage or injury. Wide-nose pliers have tips almost twice as wide as those of standard long-nose pliers to give you a better grip on your work. They’re also known as duckbill and flat-nose pliers.
Cushion-grip pliers have plastic grips for comfort.

Tweezers

Tweezers with slim and offset tips allow more visibility of your work than standard tips. Tweezers with bent and curved tips reach over and around obstructions.
Tweezers with pointed tips give you a firm grip, but they can mar components. Tweezers with round tips won’t mar or nick components. However, they don’t hold objects as well as pointed tips. Titanium tweezers are strong and durable. Solder won’t stick to these tweezers. They are nonmagnetic and have excellent corrosion resistance.
Tweezers with a dull appearance won’t cause reflections and glare under a microscope.

Worm-Drive Clamps with Smooth Bands for Soft Hose and Tube
Clamps have a smooth band with rolled edges to prevent them from cutting into your hose or tube. They’re best for soft hose and tube but also work with firm hose and tube. Do not exceed the maximum torque or clamps may be damaged. They all meet either DIN or SAE dimensional standards. Some are ASTM rated for titanium composition.
PTFE-coated titanium is more corrosion resistant than stainless steel, making it the best choice for applications involving harsh acids and chemicals. It’s also stronger than stainless steel, yet still lightweight. It has a natural slippery surface, which reduces friction and prevents clamps from damaging hose or tubes.
