Safety Gates

No need to shut these gates behind you—springs automatically do it for you. Gates can be mounted to swing open to the left or right.

Gates that comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.28 meet standards for protection from falls and falling objects around walking-working surfaces. Gates that meet OSHA 29 CFR 1910.29 fulfill requirements for guardrail systems.

Style A gates close softly for safety. You can also adjust their tension to change how quickly they close.

Style B gates have a low profile.

Style C gates adjust to fit a wide range of openings.

Style D gates adjust to fit a wide range of openings and have adjustable tension. To attach them to your railing, drill holes through the railing and secure the gate using bolts (not included). These gates don't have to fit around the railing in order to attach to it.

Style E gates have a locking latch to keep them closed.

Galvanized steel gates provide very good corrosion resistance.

Powder-coated steel gates offer some corrosion resistance and high visibility.

Stainless steel gates provide excellent corrosion resistance.

Ladder Extension Rails

Add these rails to straight ladders and extension ladders to provide a safe transition to an elevated surface. The grab posts have grip tape to keep your hands from slipping. Quickly install these rails by sliding them over the ladder’s side rails, locking them into place over the top rung, and tightening the thumb screws.

Add an optional safety gate to prevent falls through the rail opening. Push the gate open to step onto the elevated surface; a self-closing mechanism automatically closes it. Before using the gate, secure the ladder to a fixed structure with a ladder anchor.

Note: Per OSHA regulations, the rails must rise at least three feet above the elevated surface being accessed.
