Bronze is more abrasion resistant than brass and copper for a longer service life. This wire cloth is often used in marine environments because it is more resistant to corrosion from salt water than stainless steel.
Choose aluminum wire cloth for good corrosion resistance at a lighter weight than steel or stainless steel.
Made with precision wire cloth, these sieves provide accurate, consistent sifting results in testing and laboratory applications. Stack sieves with different mesh sizes to separate multiple particle sizes at once—order from largest particles to smallest, top to bottom. The bottom of each sieve fits into the top of sieves with the same diameter. Frames meet ASTM E11.
Sieves with a mesh size of 50-140 are for small particles with a size similar to flour.
304 stainless steel is more wear resistant than brass.
