    Weldable 4130 Alloy Steel Sheets

Image of Product. Front orientation. Steel. Weldable 4130 Alloy Steel Sheets.
A low carbon content makes this 4130 alloy steel easy to weld. Also known as chrome-moly steel, it’s often used for pressure vessels and structural supports. It can be surface hardened with heat treating for added wear resistance.

    Corrosion-Resistant Low-Carbon Steel Sheets

Image of Product. Front orientation. Steel. Corrosion-Resistant Low-Carbon Steel Sheets.
These sheets are treated for good corrosion resistance. Also known as mild steel, low-carbon steel is easy to machine and form. It's widely fabricated into parts that don’t require high strength, such as enclosures, brackets, and mounting plates.
Aluminized Low-Carbon Steel—Coated with an aluminum-silicon alloy, these sheets resist corrosion while withstanding long-term exposure to higher temperatures.
Zinc-Coating Weight Designation—Zinc-coating weight designation indicates the level of corrosion resistance. A higher number means there’s a thicker coating and greater corrosion protection.

    Paintable Low-Carbon Steel Sheets

Image of Product. Front orientation. Steel. Paintable Low-Carbon Steel Sheets.
The galvannealed coating allows these low-carbon steel sheets to be painted without prepping the surface. They're easier to weld and more scratch resistant than zinc-galvanized steel sheets. Low-carbon steel, also known as mild steel, is easy to machine and form. Use these sheets for outdoor signs, cabinets, and doors.
