Lightweight Low-Stretch Grip-Tight Rope—Not for Lifting

Made of a polyester/polypropylene blend, this rope is approximately 15% lighter than standard polyester rope. Use it for applications that require minimal stretch, such as in tie-down applications. It resists UV rays, rot, oil, and gas, and will not lose strength when wet. The twisted construction gives it a grooved surface, allowing you to grip it tight without it slipping.

Choose this polyester rope for applications that require minimal stretch, such as in tie-down applications. It resists UV rays, rot, oil, and gas, and will not lose strength when wet. Solid braided construction keeps the rope from flattening during use and disperses wear evenly, making it a good choice for high-friction applications, such as passing through pulleys. Rope has an eye on both ends to save time when attaching to tie downs and hooks. It knots easily and won’t rotate under load.

Polyester rope has excellent stretch resistance for applications that require more control over your load. It resists UV rays, rot, oil, and gas. Nylon rope compensates for sudden force, such as those often found in towing applications and dock lines. It resists rot and mildew. Polyethylene rope is strong even when wet. Its performance is comparable to Spectra and Dyneema. It’s commonly used as a lightweight alternative to wire rope because of its excellent strength to weight ratio.

Rope with a braided core resists wear during use because it has a braided cover.
