About Track Rollers
Also known as cam followers, track rollers have a thick outer roller that runs directly on a flat surface.

Ball Bearings
Sealed bearings block out dust and other contaminants better than open and shielded bearings, but retain the most heat.

Angular-Contact Thrust Ball Bearings

Install these bearings for use with combined radial and thrust loads. They are often used in spindle applications and can be combined with cylindrical roller bearings to better handle radial loads.
Double-row bearings handle thrust loads in both directions.

Spherical-Roller Bearings

Two rows of rollers give these bearings dynamic radial load capacities over five times higher than comparably sized tapered-roller bearings. Also known as rock crusher bearings, they handle heavy shock loads and are used for metal milling machinery, mining and oil field equipment, and in paper mills.
For technical drawings and 3-D models, click on a part number.
Needle-Roller Thrust Bearings
Thinner rollers allow these bearings to fit in tighter spaces than tapered-roller thrust bearings. Because of the large contact area between the rollers and washers (not included), these bearings are great for medium to heavy duty, low-friction jobs. For use on hardened and ground surfaces.

Mounted Ball Bearings
Bearings are self-aligning to compensate for shaft misalignment. Seals block out dust and contaminants.
Bearings with eccentric lock have a collar that you twist in one direction to grip and the other to release. Compared to bearings with a set screw, they’re easier to install, require less adjustment over time, and are better for high-speed applications. But, they only work on shafts that spin in one direction.
Bearing with concentric lock use adapter sleeves (sold separately) to lock onto shafts in a way that enables high running speeds with little vibration. They work for applications that require reversing because they allow shafts to rotate in both directions.

Mounted Ball Bearings with Two-Bolt Flange

Bearings are self-aligning to compensate for shaft misalignment. Seals block out dust and contaminants.
Bearings with a set-screw shaft mount secure to shafts with no need for an additional collar. They can be used for bi-directional shaft rotation when applications require reversing action. The set screw may cause some marring on the shaft.
Bearings with an eccentric-lock shaft mount are better than bearings with a set-screw shaft mount for high-speed applications, but only rotate in a single direction.

Mounted Ball Bearings with Four-Bolt Flange
Bearings are self-aligning to compensate for shaft misalignment. Seals block out dust and contaminants.
Set screw bearings secure to shafts as you tighten their screw. They don’t need a collar, but the screw leaves some marring on shafts. Use them in applications where shafts rotate in both directions.
Eccentric lock bearings are quick to install—twist them in one direction to tighten and the opposite to loosen. They’re better than set screw bearings for high speed applications, but they only work with shafts that rotate in one direction.

Threaded Track Rollers

Also known as cam followers, track rollers support loads while guiding and positioning work. Thread the stud directly into a component or secure with a nut for through-hole mounting.
Crowned rollers have a slight curve, which is invisible to the naked eye, to stay centered on surfaces that are not perfectly aligned and/or not perfectly flat.
Rollers with seal have end seals to protect rolling elements from dirt and contamination.

Corrosion-Resistant Threaded Track Rollers

Also known as cam followers, track rollers support loads while guiding and positioning work. Thread the stud directly into a component or secure with a nut for through-hole mounting. All rollers have end seals to protect rolling elements from dirt and contamination.
440C stainless steel rollers offer better corrosion resistance than chrome-plated steel rollers.

Also known as yoke-style cam followers, these rollers have more mounting flexibility than threaded track rollers. They're typically mounted onto a shaft or clevis rod end. Lubricate rollers through a hole and groove in the inner ring.
