An oil-embedded bronze insert slowly releases lubricant to the rod end. Relubrication is recommended but not required. Connect your grease gun to the fitting to relubricate. Made of zinc-plated steel, these rod ends generally handle higher loads than stainless steel, aluminum, and nylon rod ends and offer moderate corrosion resistance.
