High-Load Ball Bearings
With a wider profile than standard ball bearings, these rugged bearings are good for handling heavy loads at low speeds.
Open bearings dissipate heat more efficiently than shielded and sealed bearings.
Shielded bearings block out dust and other contaminants, but do not dissipate heat as efficiently as open bearings.
Sealed bearings block out dust and other contaminants better than open and shielded bearings, but retain the most heat.

Needle-Roller Bearings
Also known as drawn-cup roller bearings, these are our thinnest roller bearings. The outer ring is drawn out to form a lip that holds the bearing together. Bearings take on the shape of their housing and may be oblong prior to installation.

Mounted Linear Ball Bearings for Support Rail Shafts
Mount these bearings on a support rail shaft for applications requiring maximum rigidity. End seals keep lubricant in and dirt out. Self-aligning bearings compensate for shaft misalignment. Fixed-alignment bearings are for use where shaft misalignment is unlikely.

Corrosion-Resistant Mounted Linear Ball Bearings for Support Rail Shafts
Outdoor as well as mild chemical environments are no problem for these bearings. They have stainless steel balls for corrosion resistance. Mount them on a support rail shaft for applications requiring maximum rigidity. They are self-aligning to compensate for shaft misalignment.

Acme Lead Screws and Nuts
Found in hand-powered clamps, vises, grates, doors, and work tables, lead screws and nuts have broad, square threads that are well suited for quick assembly, high clamping forces, and lifting and lowering heavy objects. To ensure compatibility, please select components that have the same thread direction, thread size, and number of thread starts.
Carbon steel components are easier to machine than alloy steel components. Zinc-plated carbon steel components have mild corrosion resistance. 18-8 stainless steel components have good corrosion resistance.
Travel distance per turn, also known as screw lead, is the distance a nut or handle moves with one revolution of the lead screw.
For technical drawings and 3-D models, click on a part number.
Hex nuts fasten and position lead screw components.

Bearing Retaining Nuts
Often paired with spring lock washers to strengthen their hold, these retaining nuts—also known as shaft nuts—keep vibration from shifting bearings, bushings, pulleys, and gears on your threaded shaft or spindle. They have slotted sides, so you can tighten and loosen them with a spanner wrench or spanner socket.
Chamfered-face retaining nuts weigh less and produce less heat than stepped-face nuts.
Carbon steel retaining nuts are strong and resist wear.
303 stainless steel retaining nuts resist corrosion better than steel. They also withstand washdowns and chemicals.
