An SMC filter, regulator, and lubricator are combined to provide clean, lubricated compressed air at your required pressure. These FRLs connect to other SMC units of the same series with joiner clamps (sold separately)—even if the pipe sizes are slightly different—so you can customize your air preparation system. The regulator is relieving, so it will exhaust when the downstream pressure exceeds the set pressure.
Inline FRLs only need 25 mm of clearance below the filter for emptying condensate or switching the filter element. The filter element isn’t attached to the housing, so it comes off when the bowl does. Each component can be replaced or repaired on its own to reduce overall maintenance costs.
Stacked FRLs require less horizontal space than inline FRLs. The filter and regulator are joined top-to-bottom with the lubricator on the side.
Aluminum bowls are stronger than plastic bowls. They won’t crack or shatter if dropped.
BSPP threads are also known as G threads.
Joiner clamps (sold separately) create compact, airtight connections between components. They come with mounting brackets.

Compressed Air Filter/Regulator/Lubricators
(FRLs) with Push-to-Connect Fittings
A filter, regulator, and lubricator in one, these FRLs provide clean, lubricated air at your required pressure. No need for pipe nipples or joiner clamps to install—just push your air line into the fittings to create an airtight seal. The regulator is relieving, so it will exhaust when the downstream pressure exceeds the set pressure.
Inline FRLs are the standard design. Each part can be replaced or repaired on its own, which reduces maintenance costs.
Stacked FRLs have a filter and regulator joined top-to-bottom and a lubricator on the side. They require less horizontal space than inline FRLS.
