SMC Modular Compressed Air Filter/Regulator/Lubricators (FRLs)

Plastic Bowl
An SMC filter, regulator, and lubricator are combined to provide clean, lubricated compressed air at your required pressure. These FRLs connect to other SMC units of the same series with joiner clamps (sold separately)—even if the pipe sizes are slightly different—so you can customize your air preparation system. The regulator is relieving, so it will exhaust when the downstream pressure exceeds the set pressure.
Inline FRLs only need 25 mm of clearance below the filter for emptying condensate or switching the filter element. The filter element isn’t attached to the housing, so it comes off when the bowl does. Each component can be replaced or repaired on its own to reduce overall maintenance costs.
Stacked FRLs require less horizontal space than inline FRLs. The filter and regulator are joined top-to-bottom with the lubricator on the side.
Aluminum bowls are stronger than plastic bowls. They won’t crack or shatter if dropped.
Joiner clamps (sold separately) create compact, airtight connections between components. They come with mounting brackets.

Joiner Clamps for SMC Modular Compressed
Air Filter/Regulator/Lubricators (FRLs)
Connect SMC modular filter/regulator/lubricator components with the same series number. These joiner clamps create compact, airtight connections between components—even if the inlet size or thread types are slightly different.
Joiner clamps with a mounting bracket let you attach components to a wall or equipment.

Swap out SMC modular filter/regulator/lubricator components without unthreading your air line connections. These blocks stay connected to your pipes when you need to replace the components between them. Check the manufacturer series on your SMC components to ensure compatibility.
