Economical Garolite CE Sheets and Bars
- Color: Brown
- Max. Temperature: 235° F
- Tensile Strength: 6,000-10,000 psi (Good)
- Impact Strength: 1.4-1.7 ft.-lbs./in. (Poor)
- Hardness: Rockwell M100 (Extra Hard)
- For Use Outdoors: No
- Specifications Met: MIL-I-24768/14, UL 94 HB
These Garolite CE sheets and bars are often fabricated into parts where high strength is not required. They are made of a phenolic resin with cotton fabric reinforcement, which makes it easy to machine into mechanical parts, such as pulleys, gears, bushings, and washers. Garolite CE is sometimes called canvas-grade industrial laminate, phenolic, and Bakelite.

Slippery Conductive Garolite CE

- Color: Black
- Max. Temperature: 235° F
- Tensile Strength: 6,000-10,000 psi (Good)
- Impact Strength: 1.4-1.7 ft.-lbs./in. (Poor)
- Hardness: Rockwell M90 (Hard)
- For Use Outdoors: No
Graphite is added to these Garolite CE sheets to provide a slippery surface that reduces friction. The graphite also makes them conductive. Often used for bearings and wear pads, they're constructed of a phenolic resin with cotton fabric reinforcement. Garolite CE is sometimes called canvas-grade industrial laminate, phenolic, and Bakelite.

Electrically Insulating Hard Fiber

- Color: Gray
- Max. Temperature: 235° F
- Tensile Strength: See Table
- Impact Strength: 2.5 ft.-lbs./in. (Good)
- Hardness: Rockwell R70 (Hard)
- For Use Outdoors: No
- Specifications Met: MIL-I-695, UL 94 HB
Widely known as fishpaper and vulcanized fiber, these thin sheets offer better electrical insulation than standard hard fiber sheets. They are constructed from lightweight cotton fabric that's been chemically treated to make it hard and dense.

Saturated with wax, these sheets also have a polyester coating on one side to resist corrosion and moisture. Protect piping and wrap irregularly shaped objects with this very flexible fabric. It adheres to itself but can be separated easily.
Flame-Resistant Cotton Fabric Sheets

This cotton fabric is treated to resist flames, allowing it to meet Canvas Products Association International CPAI-84, Section 6. Use as tarps.
Pipe Insulation Repair Strips

- Max. Temperature: 900° F
- Density: See table
- Color: White
Protect and repair insulation with this cotton fiber and resin mesh. For small sections, dip the strip in warm water for five seconds then install. For large sections, apply dry to piping and spray with water. Strips harden in 10 minutes. Once hardened, they can be painted.
Tarps with Magnets

A magnet sewn into each corner keeps these tarps in place on equipment. They are water resistant and specially treated to resist rust while allowing air circulation.
