![](/prerenderstable/mvPRE/contents/gfx/imagecache/452/4529n12-@halfx_1695419625.png?ver=imagenotfound)
Made of nylon with a strand core, this rope bends freely and compensates for sudden forces, such as those found in towing applications and dock lines. You can peel back the cover and remove the core strands to use it in light duty applications, such as tying items together.
Rope with a 5/32” diameter is also known as 550 cord. Rope with a 1/4" or 5/16” diameter is sometimes called paracord.
Rope with a polyester cover resists UV rays, rot, oil, and gas.
Note: The safety factor for capacity is 12:1.

Rope has a strand core, which allows it to bend freely. The core is polyester to give the rope stretch resistance.
Note: The safety factor for capacity is 12:1.
Nylon covers resist rot and mildew. Acrylic-coated covers have a clear acrylic on the outside to reduce wear.

Wet-Environment Flexible Rope—Not for Lifting
![](/prerenderstable/mvPRE/contents/gfx/imagecache/436/4367n31-@halfx_1689956376.png?ver=imagenotfound)
Made of polypropylene, this rope floats in water, resists rot, and doesn’t lose strength when wet. It also resists acid, oil, and gas. This rope has a braided cover with a strand core, so it bends freely. You can peel back the cover and remove the core strands to use it in light duty tying applications. This rope will not rotate under load.
Note: The safety factor for capacity is 12:1.
