    Paint metal surfaces to stop rust from starting and prevent existing rust from spreading. Scrape rusty areas clean before application. Although primer is not required for use on all materials, it can be used to prepare any surface to maximize the life and corrosion resistance of paint.
    Acrylic Plastic—Acrylic plastic paint is water-based and can be cleaned up with soap and water. It’s also known as latex paint.
    1 gal. Container—Apply paint in a one-gallon can with a brush, roller, or sprayer.
    7 day Overall Dry Time—Paint with a 7-day overall dry time resists weather and mild chemicals once fully dry.
    Safety Orange—Safety orange indicates hazards and is often used on warning signs, construction equipment, and unguarded edges. Safety-color paint colors are approved by OSHA to color-code safety equipment locations, physical hazards, and protective equipment.
    Cannot Be Sold To—Paint that cannot be sold to the listed areas exceed local regulatory limits on VOC (volatile organic compounds).
