Food Industry Tight-Hold Triangle-Drive Cam Locks
Designed for food-processing and hygienic applications, these locks are FDA compliant for direct contact with food. They have a smooth finish and round edges, so there are no crevices for contaminants to collect in. A seal helps keep high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns and dust from entering through the lock. This helps you maintain an IP69K rating on sealed enclosures that are often used in food processing plants. Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than a traditional cam lock, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration.
Made of stainless steel, these locks won’t break down in areas that are constantly exposed to moisture. They include multiple cams, so you can change the fixed latching distance. Since you won’t have to adjust the cams into position, these are faster to install than those with an adjustable latching distance.
These locks open with a triangle key, so they're more secure than locks that open with a hex or slotted driver yet still match a common keying system for industrial enclosures and other machinery. They have a concealed design to stop others from tampering with them using pliers.

Keyed Push-to-Close Locks with Handle
Mount these locks horizontally to the face of doors on refrigerators and industrial enclosures with the strike plate mounted on the frame. They're keyed alike, choose them if you need several locks that open with the same key.
Locks have an adjustable strike plate to compensate for changes in offset caused by sagging doors and worn or flattened gaskets. Door offset is the space between the door face and the frame when the door is closed.

Sanitary Twist-to-Lock Knob-Style Retractable Spring Plungers
Quickly align, join, or hold machine components in place in food, pharmaceutical, and other sanitary environments. Pulling the plunger knob and twisting it 90° will lock the nose into its retracted position. All of these plungers have a long nose that offers a large bearing surface to handle side loads. They’re often used for maintenance jobs.
Made of stainless steel, these plungers won’t corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners and sanitizers. All are self-draining with rounded edges and polished surfaces, so there are no crevices for bacteria to grow, reducing the chance of a foodborne illness. Seals block out water and keep contaminants from getting trapped in threads or grooves. They’re also bright blue, so you can easily spot broken pieces that fall into your line. The seals are FDA compliant for direct contact with food, but the lubricant is rated for incidental contact.
Spring plungers with a sealing nut can be held in place with the nut after threading them to your desired depth. The nut completely covers the threads and has two seals to block out water and other contaminants.
Extended nose force is the force required to begin to depress the nose. Compressed nose force is the force required to depress the nose flush with the body. When using a plunger as a detent or stop, a lighter nose force with a shallower hole releases more easily, while a heavier force with a deeper hole holds more securely.

Metal- and X-Ray-Detectable Pull-Tight Loop Tamper-Seal Tags
Seal valves, latches, containers, and other devices with these traceable, tamper-evident tags, which are designed for food, pharmaceutical, and other sanitary environments. They contain metal and chemical additives that will set off metal detectors and show up on X-rays if any part of them falls into your line. Use them to help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs to make sure contaminated food doesn’t leave your plant. Available in a variety of colors for color-coding the different lines and areas of your plant, they help you follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
These tags cinch tight like cable ties and have a pull tab to remove them without tools. They’re stamped with the message "SEALED" and numbered sequentially, which helps you track if any tags have been tampered with. Not offered blank for security reasons.
Closing Rings for Sanitary Stainless Steel Drums
Clamp lids onto sanitary stainless steel drums using these leverlock closing rings, which create a tight seal and are easy to put on and take off. Made of 304 stainless steel, they have very good corrosion resistance.

Cam-and-Groove Hose Couplings for Food and Beverage
Made of FDA listed materials, these couplings are suitable for food and beverage applications and won’t impart tastes or odors to the product. They also meet NSF/ANSI 61 safety standards for use with drinking water systems. A complete coupling consists of a plug and a socket (both sold separately) that allow you to quickly connect and disconnect medium-to large-diameter hose lines. To connect, insert the plug into the socket and press the levers down. The levers fit snugly into the groove on the plug’s body and force the plug against the gasket to form a tight seal. To disconnect, lift both levers and pull out the plug. Plugs and sockets are polypropylene, which is lightweight with good abrasion and corrosion resistance.
Sockets with male threaded end are also known as B couplers.
Sockets with female threaded end are also known as D couplers.
Sockets with barbed end are also known as C couplers. Insert the barbed end into hose and secure with a clamp.
Note: To ensure a correct fit, make sure that the plug and socket have the same coupling size.
Warning: Relieve all pressure before disconnecting the couplings. Do not use cam-and-groove couplings with compressed air or gas.
