Made of aluminized fabric, these gloves reflect radiant heat and protect against sparks. Often used for forging metal or manufacturing glass, they protect your hands from intermittent exposure to extreme heat. All of the gloves are aluminized on the back of the cuff, hand, fingers, and thumb.
Cowhide Leather—Gloves with a leather palm resist abrasions better than gloves with a fabric palm.
Carbon Fiber/Kevlar Fabric—Carbon Fiber/Kevlar gloves are the heaviest, and they last longer than Kevlar/Nomex blend gloves in comparable service. They also protect you from molten metal splashes.
Kevlar/Nomex Fabric—Kevlar/Nomex gloves combine heat-resistant fibers with the excellent abrasion resistance of Kevlar. They protect against molten metal splashes.
Rayon Fabric—Rayon gloves are an economical choice for good radiant heat and moderate spark protection. They also protect against molten metal splashes.

    Aramid/Fiberglass Fabric

Reflect heat and deflect flames and sparks away from your arms. Often used during metal and glass manufacturing, these sleeves are made of aluminized fabric that protects you from flashes of extreme heat.
Carbon Fiber/Kevlar Fabric—Carbon fiber/Kevlar fabric sleeves provide the most indirect heat protection. They’re flexible, and they protect against molten metal splashes.
Aramid/Fiberglass Fabric—Aramid/fiberglass sleeves protect against indirect heat, direct heat, and molten metal splashes.
Knit Cuff—Knit cuffs fit securely around wrists.
Open Cuff—Open cuffs have snaps, so they’re easy to put on and take off.

    Aramid Backing

    Rayon Backing

Shield your hands from radiant heat and sparks without sacrificing dexterity. These gloves combine a leather palm with an aluminized fabric backing for protection while you make intricate welds.
Aramid Backing—Gloves with an aramid backing withstand heat and abrasion better than rayon-backed gloves. The aramid extends all the way around the cuff to protect your entire forearm.
Deerskin Leather Inner Layer—Gloves with a deerskin leather inner layer give you more dexterity than those without.
Rayon Backing—Gloves with a rayon backing are an economical choice with good radiant heat and moderate spark protection.
ANSI/ISEA 105—Gloves that meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards are rated for various forms of protection, such as resistance to cuts, abrasions, and heat. The higher the rating, the greater the protection.
EN 388—Gloves that meet EN 388 adhere to European standards for resistance to abrasive surfaces, tears, cuts, and punctures. This rating is similar to ANSI/ISEA 105.
EN 407—Gloves that meet EN 407 are rated according to a European standard for resistance to heat, flames, and droplets of molten metal.
