About Measuring Hose and Tube Clamps
What's the best way to determine the clamp size you'll need? Simply measure the outside diameter of your hose with the fitting installed. Some clamps accommodate a range of sizes, so be sure the size you need falls in the middle of that range.

Work-Load-Rated Quick-Release Duct Hose Clamps
Unlike other duct hose clamps, these are rated for a maximum work load (the maximum force the latch can withstand without affecting its operation or appearance). Clamps have a quick-release latch that lets you access your line frequently while maintaining your original clamp size.
Do not exceed the maximum torque or clamps may be damaged.
Clamps with a safety catch will not open accidentally. When the latch is closed, the safety catch automatically engages to lock it.
Zinc-plated steel clamps perform best in dry environments. The zinc plating offers temporary protection from moisture, but once it wears away the steel will rust.
304 stainless steel can be used in wet environments, but salt water or chemicals will cause staining and rust spots.
Note: When choosing a clamp, measure the outside diameter of your hose with the fitting installed.
