    Light Monitors

Image of Product. Front orientation. Light Meters. Light Monitors.
Continuously monitor light quality, intensity, and density in light-sensitive environments, such as photo labs and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. While light meters spot-measure intensity in a specific area, these monitors give you detailed readings for an extended period. They combine a light sensor, transmitter, and digital display unit. Configurable alarm outputs notify you when light levels are outside of a set range. These monitors are IP rated for protection against dust and splashing water.
A 5 ft. cable lets you keep your display visible while you check light levels in dim or hard-to-reach areas. You can mount the digital display to your wall for easy viewing with the included fasteners. If you want to mount the transmitter to a wall or onto DIN rail, connect it to the included adapter rail.
For setup, connect the light meter to the transmitter, and the transmitter to the display. Everything needs to be wired together with 4-20 mA wire (not included). You need to wire the transmitter to a 90 to 260 ACV power supply. Wiring instructions are included.

    Miniature Photoelectric Sensors

About half the size of standard photoelectric sensors, these sensors are good for use in tight spaces. They detect objects moving at high speeds with a light beam. They produce PNP or NPN signal output; to determine the signal output of a sensor you are replacing, use Testers for Proximity and Photoelectric Sensors (not included).

Direct Sensing—Direct sensing sensors detect objects when light reflects back from the object. The transmitter and receiver are in the same housing.
Receiver Sensor—Receiver sensors detect an object’s presence when they break the light beam between the transmitter and the receiver (both included).
Adjustable Light Beam—Adjustable sensors let you increase the intensity of the light beam to better detect shiny or translucent objects.
IP65 Enclosure Rating—IP65 rated sensors protect against dust and light rinses.

    Roller-Conveyor-Mount Photoelectric Sensors

Image of ProductInUse. Back orientation. Photoelectric Sensors. Roller-Conveyor-Mount Photoelectric Sensors .
A slim design and a light beam that’s angled upwards allow these sensors to sense objects from between conveyor rollers. Because they’re photoelectric, they can detect objects that are moving quickly. All are adjustable, so you can increase the intensity of the light beam to sense shiny or translucent objects. These sensors have an M12 connection to quickly connect and disconnect from your sensor. Add cables (sold separately) to sensors with a plug to wire them into your setup.

Direct Sensing—Direct sensing sensors project light onto an object and then detect the reflection to actuate. The transmitter and receiver are in the same housing, so these sensors fit in tight spaces. They require a quick-clip mounting bracket (sold separately).
Reflector Sensor—Reflector sensors detect an object when it passes between the sensor and the reflector, interrupting the beam. They have a longer sensing distance than direct-sensing sensors. They can be mounted with an L-shaped mounting bracket (sold separately).
IP65 Enclosure Rating—IP65 sensors protect against dust and splashing water.
Solenoid Valve—Sensors with a solenoid valve allow you to control air-powered conveyor drives directly from the sensor.
Conveyor On/Off Switch—Sensors with a conveyor on/off switch allow you to control when conveyors start and stop—no need for a separate controller.

Color Immune—Color immune sensors have the same sensing distance for dark and light colored objects.
Direct Sensing—Direct sensing sensors detect objects when light reflects back from the object. The transmitter and receiver are in the same housing, so they fit in confined spaces.
Receiver Sensor—Receiver sensors detect objects when an object breaks the light beam between the transmitter and receiver (both included). They have a longer sensing distance than direct-sensing and reflector sensors.
Reflector Sensor—Reflector sensors detect an object when it passes between the sensor and the reflector, interrupting the beam. They have a longer sensing distance than direct-sensing sensors.
IP68 Enclosure Rating—IP67 and IP68 rated sensors are protected from temporary submersion.
