Loctite® LB 8801 Silicone seals, lubricates, protects, waterproofs, and electrically insulates equipment.
High-Pressure Grease

This grease remains stable and in place under high pressure, heavy loads, and shock loads. It's often used for demanding mining, construction, and automotive applications.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter.
Weld load measures a grease's ability to withstand pressure in kilograms of force (kgf). The higher the rating, the more pressure the grease can withstand. Synthetic-oil-based grease lasts longer than mineral-oil-based grease and generally withstands a wider range of temperatures. Grease with silica thickener has excellent heat resistance and good oxidation resistance. It also resists washing off and reduces corrosion in wet environments.
Grease that cannot be sold to California exceeds local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

Food Industry Grease

Grease that is NSF registered H1 and grease that meets FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 are rated for incidental contact with food. Synthetic-oil-based grease lasts longer than mineral-oil-based grease and generally withstands a wider range of temperatures. Electrical-Insulating Grease

Also known as dielectric grease, use insulating grease to lubricate and protect electrical systems. It resists water and corrosion. This grease can be used on most rubber and plastic.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 3 is about the consistency of vegetable shortening.
Dielectric strength measures the maximum voltage a grease can withstand without losing its insulating properties. The higher the dielectric strength, the better its quality as an insulator.
Grease lubricates most efficiently below the maximum temperature.

Metal-Free Antiseize Lubricants





Free of metal particles, these lubricants won’t react with stainless steel. Also known as thread lubricants, antiseize lubricants prevent threaded fasteners and close-fitting parts from locking together due to corrosion, contamination, or heat.
Lubricants with graphite have good chemical and corrosion resistance, along with excellent temperature resistance. Lubricants with moly (molybdenum disulfide) withstand high-pressure applications and have excellent wear resistance. Lubricants with calcium fluoride can be used with plastic, rubber, and other nonmetallic material.
Loctite® LB 8012 Moly Paste contains 65% moly. It fills in surface imperfections to reduce friction. Loctite® LB 8013 High Purity Anti-Seize is made of highly pure ingredients in a controlled environment for superior corrosion resistance.

Corrosion-Resistant Antiseize Lubricants






Corrosion-resistant additives allow these lubricants to withstand caustic environments, such as steel mills and power plants. Also known as thread lubricants, antiseize lubricants prevent threaded fasteners and close-fitting parts from locking together due to corrosion, contamination, or heat.
Lubricants with aluminum and with copper have good heat resistance. Lubricants with graphite have good chemical and corrosion resistance, along with excellent heat resistance. Lubricants with zinc are nonabrasive for use with soft metal.
Loctite® Silver Grade Anti-Seize can be used with fine threads. Lubricants in a stick won’t run or drip.
Lubricants that meet MIL-A-907 and MIL-PRF-907 have been tested to prevent corrosion of copper and for antiseize properties when used with steel nuts and studs.
Lubricants that cannot be sold to California exceed local regulatory limits on VOC (volatile organic compounds).

Loctite® C5-A Copper-Based Anti-Seize lubricants can be used with salt water and petroleum-based chemicals. LB 8065 comes as a stick for no-mess application.

Metal-Free Food Industry Antiseize Lubricants


Free of metal particles, these lubricants prevent abrasive wear when used on stainless steel and other sensitive metal. They are NSF registered H1 for incidental food contact. All are white for a clean appearance. Also known as thread lubricants, antiseize lubricants prevent threaded fasteners and close-fitting parts from locking together due to corrosion, contamination, or heat.

Dry-Film Antiseize Lubricants

These lubricants dry to form a thin, solvent-resistant film that won't squeeze out or attract dirt. They're made with moly to withstand heavy loads and pressure. They can handle low-speed loads at temperatures up to 745° F and static loads up to 2400° F. Also known as thread lubricants, antiseize lubricants prevent threaded fasteners and close-fitting parts from locking together due to corrosion, contamination, or heat.
Loctite® LB 8017 Moly Dry Film can also be used with chain and other moving metal parts.
