Cinching Straps
Also known as lashing straps, use these to tightly secure material.
Nylon is abrasion resistant and strong, yet flexible. Polypropylene is water resistant and has some UV resistance. Polyester repels water, resists mildew, and won't stretch as much as other materials. It has better UV resistance than polypropylene. Cotton is soft and easy to handle.
Feed-through buckles are easy to thread quickly. Squeeze-release buckles can be released with one hand. Spring-loaded clamp buckles are easy to release for quick adjustments. Press down on the clamp to release the strap. Cam buckles tighten faster than feed-through buckles and provide a more secure hold than spring-loaded clamp buckles. Flip-lock buckles are also known as over-center buckles. The buckle flips down to close, adding additional tension to the strap. Ratchet buckles let you quickly cinch straps more tightly than other buckles.

Shoulder Straps for Storage Bags
Add a strap or replace one that has worn out.
Straps with swivel fittings allow the bag to rotate without twisting the strap.
Straps with rigid fittings have a hook that latches onto the mounting plate.
