    Label

Mount these lockouts over a toggle- or rocker-style wall switch so it can’t be flipped during maintenance. They secure with a padlock to help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for locking out controls to prevent injuries. They’ll lock out your switch whether it’s on or off. When not in use, the cover flips up to allow normal operation. Made of plastic, these lockouts are corrosion resistant and nonconductive. That means they’re durable and safe for electrical applications. Use the screws on your switch cover plate to mount them in place.
Red—Red lockouts have a warning label on the front to alert others to the maintenance.

    Style E

    Style F

A lockout for every style of circuit breaker switch—these lockouts clamp over your switch, so it doesn’t matter if it has a through hole. Secure these lockouts with a padlock. Less disruptive than locking access to an entire panel, they isolate a single circuit or group of circuits. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of electrical circuits to prevent injuries.

For Single Pole—Single-pole lockouts secure a single switch.
Mounting Cleat—Use mounting cleats for switches with a recess that’s too large for your lockout. To prevent accidental flipping when locked out, attach the cleat to your lockout and it will wedge into your switch’s recess.
Cable Tie Slot—Lockouts with a cable tie slot let you apply tags directly to the lockout instead of attaching them to a padlock. To secure multiple lockouts with one tag, run one cable tie through adjacent lockouts. These lockouts won’t open until the padlock is removed and your cable tie is cut. There are slots for up to three ties for group lockouts.

Style E are easy to install and extra secure. They have two metal jaws that ratchet together to tighten onto your switch—just pump the lever. A quick-release tab instantly releases the jaws. Use the peg inside to secure compatible tags (sold separately). It keeps tags facing one way at all times so they’re easy to see.
For Single Pole—Single-pole lockouts secure a single switch.
For Double Pole and For Triple Pole—Double- and triple-pole lockouts have a larger jaw size than single-pole lockouts to fit onto multiple switches that are next to each other.

    Pin In

Secure a single breaker switch with multiple padlocks to keep electricity safely off until the entire team is finished with a maintenance task. The key that unlocks these lockouts is at the end of a 2-ft. cable—wind it through the lock mount and secure by adding a padlock for each person working. The key is released only when all padlocks are removed.
Less disruptive than locking access to an entire panel, these lockouts isolate a single circuit. Because they're small and don't hold the padlocks, you'll still have room in your breaker box to flip adjacent switches on and off or close the panel door. These lockouts help your organization comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147, which requires electrical circuits to be locked out during maintenance to prevent injuries.
Pin In—Pin-in lockouts have two pins that snap into a switch’s through holes. Press a button on the end to open the pins and slide them over a switch.

    Lockout (Padlock Not

Lock out circuit breaker switches with a through-hole to prevent accidental start-ups. These lockouts have pins that fit in the hole for a more secure hold than clamp-on lockouts. Less disruptive than locking access to an entire panel, they secure with a padlock to isolate a single circuit. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of electrical circuits to prevent injuries.
Snap On—Snap-on lockouts have two halves that snap together over your switch to insert the pins inside. There are two slots to fit different switch sizes. With space to fit two cables ties, two people can add a tag to these lockouts. Or, you can weave a single cable tie through both slots.

More secure than clamp-on lockouts, these lockouts have pins that slot into the holes on your switch housing from the outside. They’ll secure switches connected by a tie bar, too—attach them to just one of the switches to lock out all of the switches connected to the tie bar. Lock them with a padlock to prevent accidental flips during maintenance. They fit best if your switch is narrow or has side clearance. They help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of electrical circuits to prevent injuries.

Wall-Mount Electrical and Valve Lockout Sets with Padlocks

Image of Product. Front orientation. Lockouts. Wall-Mount Electrical and Valve Lockout Sets with Padlocks, Case.

    Case

Keep everything you need to lock out most electrical equipment and valves around your facility in a single spot against the wall. These sets have supplies for locking out circuit breakers, valves, plugs, wall switches, and other controls. The supplies are red or yellow to alert people to maintenance. They help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147, which requires power sources and supply lines to be locked out to prevent injuries.
Case—Cases have a clear plastic cover to protect lockout items against water and dust while still letting you see inside. They have a larger set of supplies than our cabinets, including a cable lockout for weaving through and around panel boxes, valve wheels, and other hard-to-secure equipment.

Electrical and Valve Lockout Sets with Padlocks

Image of Product. Front orientation. Lockouts. Electrical and Valve Lockout Sets with Padlocks.
Everything you need to lock out your electrical equipment or valves. These sets are your one stop shop for padlocks, hasps, and other lockout devices. Bright red, they alert others to service or repairs. Use them to comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements to prevent injuries caused by accidental startups during maintenance.
1 Each: Cable Lockout—Sets with a cable lockout can be used on panel boxes or handwheels. Thanks to their extra length, they weave between handles or wheels to prevent them from turning.
Plastic Box—Sets in a plastic box are more weather resistant than sets in a carrying case or fanny pack.
Carrying Case—Sets in a carrying case store lockout components in a soft, portable bag.

    Switch

With pins that stick into the holes inside your switch housing, these lockouts are more secure than clamp-on lockouts. They’ll secure tie bars, too—attach them to just one of the switches to lock out the whole thing. Lock them with a padlock to prevent accidental flips during maintenance. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of electrical circuits to prevent injuries.
