Thread-In Air-Powered Mixers for Drums
Thread these mixers into a drum opening for a secure connection. All of the propellers are left hand and move clockwise when viewed from above to direct flow downward for efficient mixing. Adjust the mixing speed with a needle valve.
Mixers with 1 or 4 propellers have collapsible propellers to fit through 55-gallon drums with a NPT opening size of 2, so there's no need to remove the lid.
Direct-drive mixers operate at high speeds for rapid tank turnover.
Gear-drive mixers turn propellers at low speeds.
Use mixers for thin liquids to blend liquids with a viscosity similar to water and light oils.
Use mixers for thick liquids to blend liquids with a viscosity similar to honey and molasses. They have welded propellers for faster, more thorough mixing than those with set-screw propellers.
