    Dial Display

    Confirm parts are within tolerance without twisting the thimble each time. These micrometers don't need batteries, so they're always ready for the job.
    Mitutoyo—The go-to for machinists and engineers. Every part is made within a Mitutoyo automated factory and tested in-house in Japan. The spindle glides as you turn the thimble with a weighty, silky-smooth feel.
    Dial Display—Know exactly how far your part falls outside of the tolerance range. Push a button to retract the anvil, then slide your part in. Release and the anvil snaps back to its set position. The needle on the dial shows you the difference in measurement.

    Take measurements with either hand, upside down, or right side up. You can read a display from either side of these micrometers and push a button to invert the text when measuring overhead. They're especially handy for hard-to-move parts, such as heavy steel plates.
    With an LCD display, these micrometers give instant measurements—no need to read scales. Swap between inch and metric or set the position to zero, all with the press of a button. You don't need to reset the zero point since they retain their position when turned off, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning.

    Friction Thimble—Control how tightly the spindle closes on your part without the risk of damaging it. You can keep extending the spindle in small increments once it reaches your workpiece but not enough to overtighten.
