Measure your pipe and fittings to identify their pipe size, thread size, schedule, and thread type. Then, find compatible components.

Low-Pressure Stainless Steel Threaded Pipe Fittings

Connect to pipe for low-pressure applications, such as water systems. Made of stainless steel, these fittings have excellent corrosion resistance.

Union fittings separate into three pieces so you can access your line without unthreading pipe connections.
304 Stainless Steel—Fittings hold up in humid, damp, and washdown environments but will corrode if exposed to salt water or chemicals.
316 Stainless Steel—Fittings are the most corrosion resistant. They stand up to wet environments, just like 304 stainless steel fittings, but unlike 304 stainless steel, they will not corrode from salt water, chlorine solutions, and chemicals.

Flame-Retardant Drain, Waste, and Vent CPVC Pipe Fittings for Chemicals

Connect harsh waste systems with fittings that resist corrosive acids and flames. Made from CPVC, which is comparable to Corzan, these fittings withstand chemicals that would damage standard plastics. They meet UL 94 V-0, so they delay the spread of flames. They also meet NSF/ANSI 14 for use in corrosive waste gravity-flow systems. Fittings are IAPMO certified to comply with the International Association for Plumbing and Mechanical Officials product performance standards and the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) for installation and repair of plumbing systems.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.

    Applicator-Top Can

To prevent leaks in threaded connections, apply a sealant to the male threads. Threaded connections can be taken apart as needed for maintenance and repair. For metal threads, use PTFE tape. For plastic threads, apply a non-hardening, plastic-compatible sealant. Tape or sealants with PTFE are not recommended for plastic-to-plastic connections. When making a threaded connection be careful not to overtighten the threads. To prevent cracks and leaks, finger tighten the fitting, then wrench-tighten one to two turns. Sealants cannot be sold to Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Northern Virginia, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, or Utah due to local VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) regulations.

Drain, Waste, and Vent PVC Pipe Fittings for Joining Metal to Plastic

These adapters connect PVC waste pipe to cast iron pipe without adding bulk. Instead of securing pipes together from the outside like clamp-on couplings, these flexible adapters fit into cast iron pipe to create a tight compression seal. Adapters should fit tightly—tap with a mallet to install. Made of PVC, these fittings won't corrode when exposed to water.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.

Extreme-Pressure Iron and Steel Threaded Pipe Fittings

The strongest steel fittings we offer. They handle extreme-pressure applications, such as hydraulic, steam, oil, and natural gas systems.
Note: The maximum pressure listed for Class 6000 fittings is for conditions where there are no sudden changes in pressure or velocity. Please refer to ASME B16.11 to determine the specific maximum operating pressure for your application.

Flame-Retardant High-Purity PVDF Pipe Fittings for Harsh Chemicals

Finished to a 12 Ra smoothness, these PVDF fittings handle some of the harshest chemicals without leaching contaminants into your line. They’re also easy to clean and won’t accumulate particles. Comparable to Kynar, these fittings handle most organic solvents that would dissolve CPVC as well as chlorine or nitric acid that would weaken polypropylene. They meet UL 94 V-0 and FM standards for flame retardance. Weld them to pipe using a socket fusion tool with a heater bushing that matches your pipe size.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.

High-Purity Polypropylene Pipe Fittings for Drinking Water

The inside of these fittings won’t leach contaminants into your line or accumulate particles—they’re polished to an ultra-smooth 12 Ra finish, which also makes them easy to clean. Made of polypropylene, they resist organic solvents, acids, and alkalis better than CPVC fittings. These fittings meet NSF/ANSI 61 for use with drinking water, and they’re FDA compliant for direct contact with food. They also meet ASTM requirements for material and performance, and ISO requirements for dimensions. Connect them to pipe with socket fusion welding for a strong, permanent bond. Use a socket fusion tool with a heater bushing (sold separately) that matches your pipe size.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.

Low-Pressure Stainless Steel Socket-Connect Pipe Fittings

The highest quality socket-connect fittings available, these meet ANSI/MSS SP-114 standards for heat treating, material thickness, and marking. They’re also known as Pressure Class 150 fittings and used in low-pressure lines. Slide pipe into the socket and weld for a permanent connection. Socket-connect fittings don’t require perfect alignment, so they’re easier to join than butt-weld fittings. Made of stainless steel, fittings have excellent corrosion resistance.

Standard-Wall Plastic Pipe Fittings for Water

The industry standard for residential and commercial low-pressure plumbing and water supply lines. Connect these fittings to Schedule 40 pipe. Made of plastic, they’re lightweight and naturally rust resistant.
Note: For fittings that are not rated for pressure, you can use the pressure rating of the plastic pipe as a reference. Threaded fittings are limited to 50% of the rated pressure of the pipe.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.
