Keep excess cords out of your way—the reel locks the cord at any length and retracts it when not in use. All of these lights have a hook for hanging when you need both hands for other work.
Style A—Style A are a good choice if you are working close to your light—their wide-angle lens disperses the light. They can also be used like a flashlight by turning on the bulb at the end of the light, which produces a narrow spot beam. Good for inspecting, they have a cool appearance that highlights white and blue tones. An impact-resistant plastic lens protects the LEDs. An outlet at the end of the cord means these lights double as an extension cord for powering tools and other devices.
Style B—Style B have a swiveling hook, so you can aim light where you need it. Fold the hook away when not in use. They also have a magnet in back for mounting to metal. Ideal for inspecting, their daylight appearance highlights white and blue tones. A plastic lens resists impact to protect the LEDs. Mount the reel to your wall or ceiling using the included hardware. They can also double as an extension cord for plugging in a power tool or other device.

You can also mount these lights to metal with the removable magnet in back. Their daylight appearance highlights white and blue tones, so they’re ideal for inspecting. To protect the LEDs, they have an impact-resistant plastic lens. They come with hardware for mounting to your wall or ceiling.

    Explosion-Proof Portable Work Lights

Image of Product. Front orientation. Portable Work Lights. Explosion-Proof Portable Work Lights, Style B.

    Style B

Bring light to explosion-prone work areas. Rated NEC Class I, these lights are safe to use in areas with ignitable concentrations of flammable or combustible gases, vapors, and liquids. The housing of these lights contains fire and sparks, so they don’t ignite what’s in your environment. They’re often used in mines and underground drilling. All also meet NEMA 4X, meaning they withstand spraying liquid, resist corrosion, and keep out dust. Use the hook to hang them where you need them. These lights come with a standard three-prong plug, so electrical connections must be made outside of the hazardous environment. Alternatively, you can add a hazardous location plug.
Style B—Style B are rated NEC Class II for use in areas with combustible dust. The guard and hook are made of copper-free aluminum, which minimizes the chance of creating sparks if you drop or bump them. To stand up to frequent use, a tempered borosilicate glass lens protects the bulb and the handle is made of impact-resistant glass.
Hazardous Location Rating—Hazardous location environmental ratings indicate where manufacturers have included safety features in products to facilitate their safe use in hazardous environments. Before selecting a product for a hazardous location, ensure it is rated for your environment.

Safely light up large spaces where combustible gases and dust are normally present. Rated NEC Class I and II, these lights have a housing that contains any sparks or flames and seals out ignitable gases, vapors, and dust. They’re rated T5, an NEC hazardous location temperature classification. This means their surface temperature stays below 212° F to prevent them from reacting with nearby flammable substances. Made of lightweight, durable aluminum with a tempered glass lens, they withstand bumps and rough handling. They’re often used in chemical processing, refineries, and paint spray booths.
Unless noted, the plug and power supply on these lights are outdoor rated but are not explosion-proof rated. Electrical connections must be made outside the hazardous environment.
Explosion-Proof Power Supply—Lights with an explosion-proof power supply have a sealed enclosure, so you can make safe electrical connections within the hazardous environment. Their power supply and plug are explosion-proof rated.
Style A—Style A can withstand extreme weather and washdowns. Rated NEMA 6P, you can plunge them 6 ft. underwater for 24 hrs. and they’ll still work. They’re easy to move around since they weigh just 10 lbs. Rubber bumpers prevent damage if they’re bumped or dropped.

Light up work without risking an explosion. NEC rated, these headlamps are safe to use in areas with ignitable concentrations of flammable or combustible gases, vapors, and liquids. Swap the elastic strap with the included rubber strap to wear them around a hard hat—no clips required. To attach them to a welding helmet, use the included snap-together fastener. IP rated, you can drop them in water and they’ll still work. These headlamps are tested against ANSI/PLATO FL 1 standards to confirm the accuracy of performance attributes such as beam distance, impact resistance, and battery life.

    Style C

Headlamps with disposable batteries run on alkaline batteries, but you can swap them out for lithium batteries to get brighter light in cold conditions.
Spot Beam—Headlamps with a spot beam have a bright center for lighting up long distances.
Flood Beam—Headlamps with a flood beam cast a uniform spread of light that’s good for close-up tasks and inspection work.
Intrinsic Safety—Intrinsically safe headlamps cannot cause an explosion, so they're a better choice where hazardous material is present in normal operating conditions.
Hazardous Location Rating—Hazardous location ratings indicate where manufacturers have included safety features in products to facilitate their safe use in hazardous environments. Before selecting a product for a hazardous location, ensure it is rated for your environment.

    Portable Bay Lights

    Downward Beam Direction

Light up large, open rooms where you need a quick setup and takedown, such as a room under construction. Just hang these lights from a ceiling up to 30' high and they’re ready to go. Connect up to 10 lights on a single circuit. The brighter the light, the further you should space them apart. All withstand humidity and moisture, so you can use them where it’s damp.
Downward Beam Direction—Lights with a downward beam direction have angled sides, so they’ll direct more light towards the floor than lights with an outward beam direction.
