    Fast-Cut Router Bits

Image of Product. Front orientation. Router Bits. Fast-Cut Router Bits .
Quickly make smooth plunge cuts—the staggered flute design, drill/mill cut style, and carbide coating on these bits let them cut at higher speeds than other router bits. Staggered flutes combine the fast chip clearing and cutting speeds of straight flutes with the smooth finish of spiral flutes. The flute switches sides halfway up the shaft, making the bit more balanced and better at producing clean finishes than standard router bits. These bits have a pointed end, making downward plunge cuts easy.
Made of carbide-tipped high-speed steel, these bits provide faster cutting speeds and a longer tool life than standard high-speed steel bits. They do not have a pilot, so guide your router along a straight edge when hand routing to make accurate cuts.
