These progressive-tooth blades have small, fine teeth at the shank end that gradually increase to larger teeth at the tip for fast cutting. They're bimetal blades that have a carbon steel body with high-speed steel teeth for longer life than high-speed steel blades. Choose more teeth per inch for a smooth cut; choose fewer teeth per inch for fast, rough cutting.
