Straight Line Scribers
Also known as a marking gauge, this scriber draws precise, straight lines without the need for a straightedge or ruler. Lock the sliding head in place at the desired length and use it as a guide as you drag the scriber along the edge of your work surface.
Nonsparking Awls
Made of beryllium copper that is Factory Mutual approved, these nonmagnetic, corrosion-resistant inhibit sparking. Use them to punch soft materials and scribe lines in metal and wood.
They satisfy OSHA requirements that specify nonsparking tools for locations where flammable vapors and combustible residues are present. Nonsparking tools are not, however, classified as antistatic because they do conduct electricity.
Warning: Do not use these tools in direct contact with acetylene due to the possible risk of explosion. Never sharpen or grind beryllium copper.
Electrical-Insulating Awls
An insulated handle and shaft protects against shock from accidental contact with live electrical circuits. These awls are tested to 1,000 volts to meet IEC 60900 and ASTM F1505. Use to punch soft materials and scribe lines in metal and wood.

Scribers with Base

Reducing Engravers

Also known as pantographs, these engravers create reduced and one-to-one character sizes to fit your workpiece. The rotating cutter spindle allows for detailed work and smooth lines.
